We Are St. Thomas
The church that reaches up to God and out to man
Our Story
Church History
St. Thomas Missionary Baptist Church was founded on October 17, 1915, when a small group from Mt. Calvary Baptist Church gathered under the guidance of Reverend Ruben Thomas.
From humble beginnings on South Myrtle Avenue to growing campuses on Moncrief Road and Rowe Avenue, generations of faithful leaders and members have expanded our worship, ministries, and service throughout Jacksonville.
